3	Nadir Toprak Elementi Katkılanmış (Y2-xScx)O3 Sisteminin Sentezi ve Lüminesans Özelliklerinin Araştırılması
	Mor ötesi ve görünür bölge ışınları ile uyarılabilen ışıldar maddeler sentezlemek, en uygun sentez tekniği kullanarak en küçük tanecik boyutlarına ulaşmak, verimli bir ışıldar elde etmek için en uygun konut ve aktivatör iyonlarını ve derişimlerini belirlemek. Literatür bilgileri ışığında, inorganik ışıldar maddeler içerisinde, bu çalışmanın da konusu olan nadir toprak elementi katkılanmış (Y2-xScx)O3 bazlı ışıldarlar ile ilgili litereturde çok az kaynak bulunmaktadır. Nadir toprak elementi katkılanmış Y2O3 sistemlerinin fotoluminesans özelliklerinin araştırılmış olmasına rağmen projenin konusu olan sistemde luminesans özellikler henuz araştırılmamıştır.

4	Atomik Katman Biriktirme (ALD) ve Sol-Jel Yöntemleri ile Kaplanan Alüminat Sisteminde Işıldar Malzemelerin Fotolüminesans ve Mekanolüminesans Özelliklerinin Araştırılması
	Önerilen projenin konusu fotolüminesans özelliğe sahip, alüminat sisteminde ışıldar malzemeleri sentezlemek, sentezlenen malzemelerin suya/neme karşı dayanım ve ısıl dayanım özelliklerini iyileştirmek amacıyla iki farklı yöntemle metal oksitlerce (Al2O3 ve SiO2) nanometre seviyesinde kaplamak ve özellikle kaplama öncesi ve sonrası fotolüminesans ve mekanolüminesans özelliklerini araştırmaktır. Proje dahilinde sentez yöntemi olarak katı-hal tepkimesi ve sol-jel kullanılacaktır. Sentezler katı-hal tepkimesi ile başlayacak, karakterizasyon işlemleri sonucu optimum özelliklere sahip olanlar daha ince tanecik boyutuna sahip ışıldarlar elde etmek amacıyla Sol-jel ile tekrar sentezlenecektir. Optimum özelliklerde hem katı-hal hem de sol-jel ile üretilmiş ışıldarlar ayrı ayrı Sol-Jel ve Atomik Katman Biriktirme yöntemleri ile kaplanacaktır. Kaplama sonrası karakterizasyon işlemleri ile hem kaplama yöntemleri kıyaslanmış, hem de kaplama sonrası yeni/gelişmiş özellikler detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiş olacaktır.
